Rob — You didn’t know this, but Col. 1:20 is the verse that convicted me 35 years ago that caring for the environment is part of what it means to be a Christian. That led to me reading Al Gore’s Earth in the Balance, which introduced me to climate change. And here we are!
Wow! I didn't know that! It's such an important theological statement. I'm glad it made such a transformative difference for you. For me, it's the verse that answered the question, "Do all dogs go to heaven?" :) Obviously, I have since found other important theological implications.
